Default Outer sill scuff plate removal

I plan to replace the outer scuff plate on my C2S. I believe that it is held on with adhesive. How do I remove this part?
Thanks

Do a search, I think there are some older threads with instructions. Basically it is held on with adhesive and I think heating with a hair dryer while using fishing line to cut through the adhesive works.

Auto Associates in Ct instructed me to simply lift an edge and pull it up and off. Mine is scratched-just replacing it with a new one.
Thanks

You're going to have to start pulling away from the edges as gently as possible. My stock plastics ones either snapped or bent when I did this. Almost impossible to salvage them, but when you're putting in new ones, who cares.
