Hey, has anyone heard of these guys before?

Their rotors are inexpensive and I could use a set for my 997 S. Only $278 shipped for the set of 4. It says they’re OE factory rotors and that they’ve been resurfaced.. wonder how much life they have left?

ah, don't **** with your brakes. Be safe. Real Porsche OE ones that are new only cost about $70 more.

They were recommended to me by a track buddy not too long ago. I picked up a set for my .1 GT3, got them in time to test them out at Road Atlanta with Chin a couple of weekends ago. Needless to say, I rode them hard. No issues or anything out of the ordinary. Can’t beat their prices for the quality. Does Bo drive a 993 RSR? If so, fantastic guy. Paddocked next to him. Had no idea I was running his rotors.

I just calculated the price for a full set on Suncoast - $738.96 shipped vs. $278 shipped from those guys. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

It seems like if they hold up on the track they should be great for an everyday driver.

You're thinking of just the front pair. I'm talking about for a set of 4 rotors, front and rear.

bossross, yes they'd be great for a daily driver. I'm recommending them to all of my track buddies as well.

For DD - may be, to put recycled rotors on a track car you got to be crazy. Or suicidal. Sebro, dba, zimmerman. Or oem.

This is absolute craziness, buying used brakes for a car is absurd let alone for a Porsche.

to be honest i don't change rotors until one of 2 things happen. either they warp or they crack. my mechanic turned a set of cross drilled for me once just to see if that was possible on his lathe and it is. i never used it. IMHO for a street car, if you don't feel pulsation then just put new pads on. If it is pulsating then change them.

buying resurfaced rotors??? i would rather just run what i have on the car. if not get a set of aftermarket ones. Funny story, my buddies work at autozone and napa. Their rotors have an awesome warranty. we would get those and swap them out for free before each track event. too bad they don't have any for the 911

I’ve got a pair of their rotors on front of my 06 Carrera S. It’s just a casual/weekend driver, so I’m not too hard on them but they have the feel and stopping power of factory rotors. I measured them when I first got them… remember them being somewhere around .6 mm above min thickness after having been resurfaced, so they still had plenty of room to be cut down. If I were you, I’d email them and learn more about life expectancy for your specific application. My guess is that it’s the same as new OE rotors.

and what is the point to do it if a set of front slotted DBA 4000 rotors costs $300?
there is something else cheap there - centric, powerstop - but I am not sure I want to try my luck. you got to see once in your life how it looks like when a car on track gets one of front wheels locked at 90+ mph. it is not nice.

normal regular proven brands are DBA, Zimmerman, Sebro, ATE is also OK imho.
