which pad did u end up deciding to put on the car? i sw that hawk has a slightly thicker pad that would probably work well with turned rotors....

I just used OEM pads, but I would think that any pad is fine as long as it's relatively new and has a lot of friction material left on it.

~Month update:

Rotors now have 5 weekends on them, so about 50 hours of aggressive street driving. The stretch of road my buddies and I take our cars to is pretty curvy and tight, so they get quite a bit of abuse, although nothing like they would at the track. The rotors, front and rear, have no noticeable wear except for a very small lip around the edges.. I think they've worn about .1-.2 mm - it's so small that I can't get a very accurate measurement. The surface of the rotors is uniform and polished. No cracks around the cross-drilled holes.

In sum, they've exceeded my expectations. Thanks to everyone who pointed me in this direction.
