The Porsche Tech bar is just a harness bar. It's just there to attach the 6 point harness too and offer no extra support. This bar just mounts to the seat belt bolts...that's it.

If you want to stiffen up the chassis and have some sort of extra support plus mount harness then you have better options from RSS, GMG, DAS.

It is definitely between RSS 930 Hybrid or the DAS sport Bar.
i have a DAS. while note as pretty as the RSS - and they def look awesome - it is cheaper and also easier to install since it's 2 pieces. frankly i have no idea if it "works" or not (and i hope never to find out!) but i can tell you a buddy of mine flipped a few times at 140mph (blown hoosier) and the roof was slightly caved/curled around the DAS bar, which looked to be perfect. so, thats a pretty strong argument.

is that the one that bolts to rear seat anchors? yes it offers good protection but def not as much as ones that bolt to shocks.

My rear bar bolts to the shock towers and to the tub of the car. This actually provides extra protection and stiffens the chassis even more.

Yes, I am going with a tower mount for sure... No contest.

Was just wondering about DAS.

Wish I could have scooped up the Red RSS hybrid in the classifieds..
