Default "Service Now" Notification

So on engine start I receive the above message. It has been roughly a year since I had the 36,000 mile service. Is this the standard "time for oil change" message or something more? Thanks guys!

Subscribed. Does it say to visit a "workshop" soon? Mine said that once and it went away on its own. "Workshop" what is this, the North Pole?

Default Oil Service Interval

This is just a service reminder. The oil and filter change interval on the 2009-2010 Carrera is 1 year or 10,000 miles. On the 2008 it is 1 year and 12,000 miles. 2005 - 2007 is 2 years or 20,000 miles!

Got the same message and had the dealer clear it. Popped after 1 year but only put 1k miles on it in that time and decided I would go ahead and just do the oil change myself for a good DIY project, which is still to come.

Its the standard indication for oil change (1 year or 10k miles whichever comes first).
The dealer resets it the next interval. The durametric unfortunately cannot reset it properly, but that may be your answer - it reset things to the next 'major interval' which is 20k miles or 2 years.
