Default Just had new front brakes put in...

Rotors and pads. Driving home, it seems to me that they don't seem quite as sharp as I remember - pedal travels a little further till they bite, perhaps? Anyone experience that before in a gen 1 Carrera S?

Disclaimer: I've been driving my RS with PCCBs for the last 2 days, so it could be that I still have that sensation in my brain/foot.

Thanks,

Vivian.

It could be feeling vs. RS, or they need to bed-in first.

Maybe some air got into the lines, maybe you should bleed the brakes to be sure.

Most new pads and rotors require bedding in. There is some good info on it here:

Go fast, step on the brake hard. Feel the ABS kick in. Do that several times.

If calipers were not removed then bleeding is not necessary.

I'm going with air in the brake line. Brakes should travel less after putting in new pads. When was the last time the brake fluid was serviced? It should be done every 2 years regardless of how much (or little) the car was driven.
