Default Just Bought Carrera Sport Wheels

I can't wait to get them. They're being shipped from Cali and they're going on my car in my avatar. I was going to paint my Carrera Classics black, but saw these and literally pounced on them.

Just H&R lowering springs. They are compressed on the passenger side though going through that curve at speed.

To each as to his own, those sport wheels look like a total PITA to clean Just saying. Now GT3 wheels do it for me in either silver or black. The new Techno sport wheels on 991 also look awesome and are 9"F & 11.5"R and that is perfect! My $.02

Lol! Thanks. I'm so excited to get them. I feel like a kid. But your car with those wheels is no slouch. Excellent wheel choice with the grey exterior.

Bias? I don't see any bias!? Jk. Sweet ride. How do you like your H&R springs. Someone tried to convince me to install them but I was afraid because I heard they're harsh. How do you like the way they ride?

Definitely agree. I like all the 19 inch OEM wheels. Least favorite of all is the turbo wheel (not the turbo II). Favorite is the Carrera Sports. Carrera classics are, well, classic looking. I love the Carrera S IIs like gota911's wheels for their clean simply elegant and sporty design in my opinion, but I'm in love with the carrera sports.

Your $0.02 more than welcome and I agree. All kidding aside, I almost didn't buy them and put them out of my head because they look like a pita to clean compared to my carrera classics, but I couldn't let these go. I didn't realize gt3 wheels fit on a narrow body and didn't want to go the 20" route with 991 wheels. But I like your taste.

Rob, these take me just a few minutes LESS time to clean than the wheels in your avatar that I had on my previous porsche.

The springs were already on the car when I bought it so I have nothing directly related for comparison. But, I don't have any issues with ride comfort, I would replace them if I did. They are actually more comfortable than a previous car I had lowered on eibachs. I do find it challenging to avoid scraping the front on my driveway however.

I find it a bit easier to clean these wheels if I jack up each corner so I can rotate the wheel by hand. It just gives me a better angle to get to the spokes and reach in to clean the inner wheel.

Avoiding scraping the front I can handle. Uncomfortable ride with shocks bottoming out I can't.

Sounds like it's easier but I wouldn't have the patience to jack up the car. I noticed your car is black too. Have a pic with carrera sports?

I love theses wheels. Wider than the other 19s too. I wouldn't have any other OEM wheel.
