Hi

I'm Ayi
I just got 997 C4S cabriolet MK1 2007 in Thailand
the tax for exotic car in Thailand is horrible

Well, The thing is, I would like to asking you guy about IPD plenum "competition" 82mm+ Throttle Body 82mm.

I just got it but waiting for TB 82mm which mean a week will be arrive.

Is there anyone try it in 997.1 yet?

Hello. Have been using this setup for over a year now. Replaced original IPD plenum and stock TB. Throttle response is better, car seem to pull harder on top. After installation the large rubberized duct IPD provides places the air filter box a bit further back in the engine compartment. On my car this causes interference with closing hood. Before shutting the hood check to see if it clears completely. Bolt on underside of hood dented my airbox slightly and I have an occasional vibration under full throttle acceleration which I assume is airbox against hood. If you see this interference it may help to cut 1/2 inch or so from the supplied connector to provide more clearance. I have yet to do this. Run the car up and down the gears at higher rpms on highway if possible after installation to allow for adaptation. Cheers

I get that same loud rattle at high RPMs (6500-7000) then it goes away. All I have is the old fabspeed intake, never could figure out what was causing it...I'll have to check that out

Ayi, welcome to RL. I've had the IPD Competition plenum(82mm), GT3 TB, and an EVOM for a few years now. It's a nice setup and adds to the car's responsiveness and mid-range pull.
