Semicycler - If you could also post yours. THanks.

Will do. Just got my car back from the body shop for a rear wing install. I'll post the screenshots sometime this week.

Hope fully we'll get a lot of interest in this thread as there is just no info around about these coding options.

Here's a full screen capture from Durametric Pro on a 2006 C2S, MT, Bose, no CD changer, fixed rear wing

Start at the lower section of Gateway-->Coding:

Sound Exhaust System : change to Installed for Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE), you should have a button on your center console
Seat Heating: Installed if you have it
On-board Computer: I believe this is to enable sport chrono, installed if you have it
Cruise Control: Installed if you have it
Slide / Tilt Sunroof: Installed for Coupe & Targa, not installed for Cabs

Chronograph is an option in "Instrument Cluster".
I think On-Board Computer is something to do with PCM-cluster talking as I had also lost ability to display radio and tel details on my cluster with this off.

Does anyone by chance know how to activate Chrono lights to be on all the time?

Reflashing should be pretty brainless and is a way better place to start.

I have a durametric pro and played with coding, and I came to the conclusion that there is just not enough info out there and the product is not well supported by the vendor. Also, some of the coding just doesn't work despite what the menu tells you. I decided that coding is just too risky for me.

Some found that saving and reloading cofigs just doesn't work...very worrisome.

Peace

Completely agree with you. I am able to code turn signals and remote windows. That's about it. Complete waste of money. Didn't even show me errors steering column had. Didn't even know about it until I complained to the dealer about car not starting as soon as you turn the key. So they found some errors that were causing delayed engine turnover.
Had to pay dealer to code the Chrono to be on as well as this thing can't do it.
In the end, waste.

This means that the engine has been replaced, IIRC. Are you the original owner of the vehicle?

No I'm not. I have had no indication of the engine being replaced. The serial number would indicate an engine of around the correct age.

Just curious if you have discovered the problem. Fried ECU? Engine replaced?

Not sure what you mean - the original problem was that the dealer screwed up the programming in my car, which I have by and large sorted out.
Never found out why the ignition hours are like that, if that's what you mean!
