Sport Mode not working

A couple of months ago the Sport Mode button on my 997.1 MT stopped working. When you press it the light does not come on and Sport Mode is definitely not active. I never use it, so don't worry about it, but I would like to get it working again.
I don't know exactly when it happened as I rarely use it, but it was around the time I did a few things. Replaced the instrument cluster, IDP plenum, and also had a new clutch and LN IMS bearing installed. I had to program some things in the new instrument cluster, like Sport Chrono, and at first thought it was related to the cluster programming, but I put the original back in and Sport Mode still didn't work.
I see no codes or errors. Any ideas, thoughts, etc?
Thanks for any help.

When I changed my instrument cluster to upgrade to the "S" white gauges, I lost the Sport Chrono function. When I put the old cluster back, Sport mode did not come back until I drove the car for about an hour. So, I ended up switching out the gauge faces instead.

Thanks. I lost the Sport Chrono function too, but used Durametric to turn it back on and it works okay. I even put the original cluster back in and Sport Mode no longer worked, I didn't drive it for an hour though, just tried it and then put the new one back in. I do have a feeling it is something to do with when I changed the cluster though. I may well end up doing the same as you and switching the gauge faces.

Honestly, I thought mine stopped working. Then I pressed the button harder, I felt like an idiot and now it comes on again. Mustve just been a worn down connection. Perhaps/hopefully this could be your easier fix lol.

Tried pressing the button harder, no luck. One of the first things I thought of was a fuse, but I don't see a dedicated fuse for it. It is most probably in one of the modules and if a fuse for a module was blown I'd have other issues.
It's a mystery as there is no code or anything to suggest it is not working, it just does not work.
