I will be pulling trigger on this soon. Mine is under original 4 year factory warranty. Not CPO. ..

I just spoke with Rick and they will cover my car in New York. I looked at the Policy Pors uploaded, (thanks) and while it seems good, can anyone comment on the coverage? Since I dont do many miles per year, I'm going to have him look into more years but lower mileage than 100k.

Not bad for the full warranty. Thanks!

I just bought a CNA policy for my 2008 C4S with 29,000 miles still under CPO. 4 year 48,000 additional miles for $3947 from a local Lexus dealer. This was very similar to what Rick Shaw had to offer. For some background, I have had both transmission and the front differential replaced under CPO. Doubt I will keep it for 4 years, but it is peace of mind and I'm sure it won't hurt the resale value as the policy is transferable and can be canceled, for that matter, with a prorated refund. I have first hand experience in how expensive these cars can be to repair.

I found out that the reason fidelity would not cover the 997.2 I called about was because it was out from under any warranty coverage. Apparently they will not write an extended warranty unless you are still covered by one. I can sort of understand this , anyway I believe there are some that will; I sure hope so because I may need one when I find the one I'm looking for.

I got a full (platinum) Fidelity warranty on Monday the 10th for my 2010 C2s cab w PDK. It has just under 40k miles, factory warranty expired Nov 10, 2013 & not a CPO car. The price was a bit high ($4300) w a $250 deductible. But it was 10% down, 18 months to pay w zero interest! It was through my local Porsche dealer. They know the car as it has been serviced there for oil change, brake fluid change, and tomorrow, a PDK fluid change (just for added peace of mind) & it will cost $200, a bargain I think. If the PCM goes out, that is near $5k right there! Also transferable for $40 and can be canceled w prorate return. Sleeping well!

Sorry, it is for 3 more years or 36k more miles, whichever first!
