2008 997 911 Turbo White Smoke
Hi,
I am a newbie and I am seeking for help. I recently purchased 2008 997 911 Turbo. In the morning startup I notice white smog from the exhaust system. However, recently I also notice smoke even when the engine warm up. Can anyone help me?

Does it smell sweet? I know it sounds stupid, but when the engine is burning coolant it kind of smells sweet.
Also, how's your coolant level in the expansion tank?
Did you notice any increase in oil level?
Did the car overheat at any point?
If none of the above,it might just be condensation or it happens more when the car has been sitting for long periods of time.

Thanks your response Neanicu. The car was sitting at dealership for few weeks in Connecticut before it shipped to California. So it is fair to say that the car was sitting for a while. I notice that the car does not smoke when I drive easy on the car.

check the GT3 forum, but I think it might be normal
you have mezger engine, and I think it's fairly normal on the mezger GT3s
