Hey guys I want to install a 3rd radiator and would like to know what would be a good lower temperature thermometer to go with it?

Worth reading this thread which gives details from a UK specialist who has conducted testing of 3rd rad + low temp thermostat.
Very interesting read!!

My opinion is that if you going to drive in slow traffic a lot while keeping engine close to idle or at very low rpms - this way low tem thermostat will help your motor. If you run at 3k rpm or so all the time then coolant flow is sufficient to work as it is.
3rd radiator is a must, it is very easy to do, just put it on, you will see its effect immediately and that is why I saw that 160 deg thermostat is optional if you have 3rd radiator.

Just sayin' .....
In fact Baz is quite adamant that the 160*F T-stat is a must and the 3-rd rad is not required. I don't fully agree personally with the 3-rd rad view.
I met him last November in Bolton. Quite incredible experience and close to 6 hours spent talking water cooled 9X6 and 9X7 engines.
Cheers,
Luke

I think radiators work by getting direct air by a fan or the car moving at speeds. I don't think the 3rd radiator would be any good in bumper to bumper traffic. IMO, a lower temp thermostat will be the way to go. Additionally, I wouldn't like to have extra hoses and attachments that could give the car more opportunities to leak. On the other hand, I would definitely install one if you track your car.

The GT3 center radiator is angled differently and vents out the top. The "normal" 3rd radiator kit is designed to vent out the bottom. The GT3 center radiator costs quite a bit more
