Guys, has anyone had the rear plastic on their sport seats wrapped?
The reason I ask is that my daughter has turned the seat backs into her own personal white board, sticker board, kicking board the list is endless.
They have held up quite well to the abuse & are really only scratched in places. There is a member on the 991 forum that had his seat backs wrapped in the 3M Di Noc Carbon stuff, anyone else done anything similar?
I've attached a couple of pics from his post to save you guys hunting around.
Was thinking about getting them repainted but P car is black/black, so wouldn't know which color of black to get the painted & original color is pants!
I was thinking about doing the same thing. How about a 2-3 layer in that middle panel, where she is going to be kicking it all the time. Peel the next layer off, and you'd have a perfect new layer? hmm.
My boys sit in the back all the time. The good news is that they are too big to kick that high. All I get is, I'm cramped, are we there yet, I'm hungry. Does BOSE make boy cancelling stereo's?
I think I will try the 3M stuff, however, with an all black leather interior I think the black carbon will just be lost in the sea of black leather. The seat backs are the OEM silver color, I will try & photo shop the different colors the 3M stuff comes in and decide which one I like the most.
Here is the 3M range of carbon:
I actually had done this same thing when I installed Adaptive Sports Seats in the rear of my car, since my kids sit back there too, but I only did the center part where their feet would normally hit.

Petza your seats look in far better condition than mine & with 2 kids in the back!
My now 4 year old has managed to go beyond just the normal area of destruction, in the center, and depending on which handbag/toy she is holding in her hand, when getting into the back, has managed to scratch the seat back in some hard to believe areas, at least she doesn't get car sick in the back of the P, in the Treg it's a completely different story, it's like a scene from the Exorcist
