I have my car detailed by a guy I love and I'm not sure what products he uses to clean and condition but it comes out with a matte beautiful finish that always looks showroom beautiful!
When I get back from Florida I'll post the products and pics.

So if I'm treating my 2009 with 15k miles and my wife's 2013 Acadia, which product would you recommend? Leathermasters or Leathertique? The C2S interior is near perfect, black...do I just clean it...or condition as well? The Acadia is/was new, tan leather, mostly jeans rubbing off...cleaning only or conditioning too?

You know.. these inexpensive grocery store brands did a fine job for me yesterday.. 5 parts warm DI water to 1 part Detail Magic Leather Cleaner, followed by Meguiars Gold Class leather conditioner. Seats were very thirsty and they soaked up the conditioner quickly. They look great. And my hands have never been softer.
So, having re-read this thread, what is the consensus on treating the painted leather? Any? I'm looking to ensure elasticity and "give", so that the seats don't crack or split open with age.

Out of the two products I use, Leatherique seems to make the leather more supple than Leather Masters to me, but Leather Masters leaves a better finish. So I use both and the leather definitely feels soft and more supple than before treatment.

I use Ikeas leather kit "Absorb". Just read on another forum that it's anyhow made by Leathermaster. They apparently also make the kit you buy in VOLVO dealerships for 45 bucks.
I have both brands and they look similar as do the packaging. Caps even have same half circle mark you have to press to open. Viscosity and color of leather cream is exactly the same. So I have to agree, it's probably same content inside.
I find it very good and have used it for my cocoa leather interior for two years now. I have a cabrio so it's more exposed to the elements and leather is cleaned and lubricated often.

Like the philosophy there mikeson.
That's what got me into buying Ikea product. It's 7 bucks vs 45 for the Volvo Dealer stuff. Does the job perfect.
I read here about someone who used Nivea facial cream and I think it does the job as well. AND the car smell nice. They key is really to keep the leather clean and hydrated. Leather product brands is second thing to me as long as you use products for skin/leather. Often with normal products is better than seldom with expensive ones.

I used to use Zymol cleaner and condition but now I am a big fan of Leatherique Prestine clean and and Rejuvenator oil. Leaving the car out in the sun on a warm day wit the Rejuvenator oil really does and incredible job softening the leather and plumping up folds in the seat side bolsters. It isn't cheap stuff but I've yet to find a better cleaner and leather softener and I don't need to do it often.

For light cleaning and regular conditioning I have pretty much started using Leatherique prestine clean exclusively. I use it on all of our cars including my DD Volvo with 50k miles and the supple leather look as new with the same matte finish. I did notice a slightly darker appearance on the Porsche leather but overall it remains matte and as soft as the day I got it. I use it on all the cars a minimum of every two or three months sometimes earlier if the seats need to be cleaned.
