Do the US spec PSE units have a speed sensor cutout?

Do the US spec PSE units have a speed sensor cutout?
I was trying to do some research on the PSE and read that due to EU regulations, the activated PSE will cut off at a certain speed.
Do the US spec units still have this speed control?
I'm going to install a different valved exhaust and want to retain the factory control and switch, but not if that cutout exists. Tried to make the determination by ear, but the sound isn't dramatic enough for me to tell if it changes at speed.

Mine opens up about 40 mph and 4,000 rpm -- U.S. spec. If you can't tell the difference between ON and OFF then it probably isn't working. With mine, the difference is very clear (now that it's working again).

IF you do a search herein you will find that your question is answered rather extensively. All model 997s with PSE are the same, to meet Swiss noise abatement standards. Within the search you will find the speed range affected.
Here yo ugo: The factory PSE imposes a factory mandated (actually, a Swiss noise abatement mandate from between 45 and 75 kph) which seems to come at a bad time when it comes to appreciating the engine--but I live with it. For Americans: 27.9 mph through 46.5 mph.

At idle, I've taken a video of the valves actuating when I press the sport button, so I know they're working. But since the cutoff exists, I'll just use the supplied remote. Was just hoping to keep the install simple by using all the existing wiring and vacuum.

Drive the car in 1st and feather the throttle around 2800-3200 rpm. Keep accelerating and you'll hear it cut out.
