Default Beware of Chicago Motor Cars

Hey guys. Noticed a few people looking at cars from this dealer. They seem to have quite a few 911s and all priced low. I was looking at one too so I googled them for reviews and stumbled across this website. Not saying dont buy from them but please do you homework and get a PPI before you buy. Check this site below if you are considering a car from them.

Pretty strong criticism for a company you have not done business with. BBB rating is A-

There's a "sucks" site for everything anymore. As a result, lots of extremely reputable businesses find themselves burning time playing defense on the internet. I have no idea what the case is here, but I'm absolutely certain that one of the biggest problems with the internet is that it gives everyone a voice. Everyone. That's problematic on many levels.

I agree that anyone can type up a sucks website and attack a business. But this guy has sued them (and won) and has tons of uploads of public records from court cases filed against the dealer and won, including a few Porsches. In addition to tons of other fraud allegations with evidence attached. So, anyone can defend them, sure, but the stories and expressed evidence are there.

Though I agree that it's strange to criticize someone you haven't done business with, BBB is a joke. I know a guy with an A+ on BBB who is currently facing 20+ years of jailtime for fraud operating that shell corporation.

BBB, Yelp, and Carfax are all easily paid off.

The BBB here in LA was shut down for taking bribes in order to issue positive reviews...

BBB is a joke. Both ways. They're just a mediator at best.

After browsing through the site, I would never do business with them. Shady. Very shady.

The only way to know what your getting is due diligence. Part of that includes background searches on the seller so you know what you should watch out for. Posts like this help many reduce the amount of time spent doing searches online.

Thanks for posting.
