Assuming you have good snows, I've been told that 911's handle the snow quite well. Even RWD versions, because there is so much weight over the rear of the car. Having said that, when it does break loose, hold on :-D

After 2 winters with a 997.2 C2 and the heavy snow this winter in a GT3 I'm thoroughly impressed with the control in the snow.

Rear engine + rear wheel drive + great steering feel + good set of winter tires = great control and fun!
