Do they use a lot of chemical and salt on your main roads there? That's the one thing about snow driving here in Kansas City, especially driving spiritedly in the snow/slush, that $hit goes intravenous into every pour of every nook and cranny of the vehicle!
They do so I make sure that I'm washing the car once or twice a week. I've had loads of sports cars over the years in snow and if you continually wash them they don't rust.

My experience too…even the dopey British Leyland money pits!! Lots of reasons not to drive these cars in snow….none make any sense to me!

I drove wife`s accord today, no way I am going to let back of my car be hit by some idiot in such conditions... in 3-4 days time when all this stuff melts away it will be no problem, but not today

Winter in minnesota is why I traded in my M3 for the C4s.
