I am also in Atlanta and just picked up my "new" car. Guess it's time for a little ATL get-together!
I'm always down for a Sunday drive or a meeting. Any of you ATL people go to the car show in Alpharetta the first Saturday of every month? I'm thinking of going to the next one.
Who was your salesman? Mine was Rich C, I'm very pleased with my experience with them.
I had Michael for a salesman, and while the purchase was FAR from a smooth transaction, it was not all Michaels fault. First, I ordered a second key, had them remove the old crummy tint, and respray the front bumper as part of the sale. Michael said give him a week, no problem. A week later only 1/2 of it was done even though after talking with Michael a few times he made it seem everything was on track. Took about 2 1/2 weeks to get it all done, but they did do an awesome detail (clay/wax/polish) on it so I forgave the lack of communication.
Second fumble on the dealership was my paperwork with the tag office. They took so long processing my title I had to go to the dmv and get a second temp tag, and then had to go a third time to get my plate as my second temp ran out. Michael first claimed the delay was at the dmv until I prooved that wrong. The tag lady (idk her name) at Jim Ellis should be fired. I left 6 voicemails for her over a 4 week span and did not receive one call back.
Not sure I could recommend Jim Ellis. I had a major falling out with the service department at their audi dealer in atl, and one more fumble at the porsche dealer I'm done with them, they earned 2 strikes on the purchase.
