I would really like to change the gear oil in my 2011 C4's front differential, but needs some help. I found the previous post with photos that show the drain plug and where the fill plug is, but when I took the cover off the bottom I discovered two sets of drain/fill plugs? There is one drain/fill pair on the front differential where the axles attach, but there is a second pair a little further back where the drive line enters.
The entire unit seems to be one casting, but I was not sure if there are two sets of drain/fill plugs in order to get all the fluid out and filled properly or if there are two independent housings and they require different fluids?
Thanks!

There are 2 different fluids used. One for the differential and one for the AWD controller in that assembly.
For the differential side use 75w-90 gear oil and for the AWD controller use ONLY Porsche
part #00004330300 which is a 75w-80 fluid. Do not put anything else in the AWD controller no matter what anyone tries to tell you. Only the Porsche labeled fluid.
