First time in this car, just got it this year, did not drive it this past winter due to all the salt on the roads.

I also have Heated seats in all of my cars, but I do not think any are as hot as these. I have the Heated Steering Wheel option, but bought an aftermarket wheel so it is not hooked up. I do use the Heated Wheel in my Truck all the time, I love it.

Default They're mandatory IMO

Especially in a cab. I was looking at a car that didn't have them, I'm glad that didn't work out and I found the car I have now. I agree with everyone, they warm up quick and are down right toasty.

When I was searching for a used Porsche back in 2010, so many California cars didn't have heated seats. California dealers told me that they wish they had heated seats in every car as it was appararant that they are a must for their clientele even in their climate. BTW, the gals love them too....

Real comfort is turning on heated seats and seat ventilated fan at same time, great warm air being circulated particularly on the CAB with top down

Now this is being innovative!

I'll have to give it a go when it gets a bit cooler in NorCal...I bet Susan may even enjoy your idea!

After I pulled my back at work last Spring, I discovered driving around for 45 minutes or so with the seat heater on was even better than using a heat pad on the sofa -- more and better back support. It always made me feel better on several levels.

My sister-in-law from Hawaii came out for a visit last winter. She wasn't used to the extreme cold in Austin (mild for most on the mainland) so I turned on the "okole" warmers. She was amazed and thus we held a discussion for the next 20mins while I drove her to a local eatery, Curby Lane, about what it would take to get a Porsche for my brother-in-law... translation herself. IMHO headed seats are one of those key options I seek out for all my DD cars right after PASM, Sports Chrono, and full leather... even though it's less often discussed. Nice thread.
