Default I love Amazon...

Went on there to order some Motul (4 pack) for oil changes... found a good deal with free 2-day shipping on Amazon Prime... went to order it... and discovered that somehow, someway, I had a $65 discount. WTF?! Woohoo!!

Yeah, I'm perfectly okay with what essentially amounts to a 50% discount.

Love your signature line, mdrums. Makes me wish I'd seen that before; I'd have gotten the plate AEROBTL for my car... LOL

Are folks preferring the Motul these days? I used Castrol 5/40 on my last change but am always interested in others opinions.

+1 for Motul 8100 X-cess. It's on the Porsche approved list. Helps to keep my oil pressure higher(1 bar) at idle as compared to MB-1 during the heat of our TX summer. Oil temp is cooler ~5*F. It's ~$138 in bulk pack (four 5 liters jugs) or $69 per oil change. Shipping is free with Prime.

I'd like to see the link for AJ's find though... sounds like a deal.

Honestly, I have no idea where the discount came from, and couldn't find any info on it. I just went ahead and ordered it quickly, before someone discovered they gave me the discount by mistake. LOL

+1 on Amazon for Motul order especially with my wife's Prime account. It's sitting in the garage waiting for my next oil change. That and a NAPA Gold filter.
