Default throttle extension for heel-toe?

Anybody have a good solution for attaching a small tab to the side of the throttle pedal to help with heel-toe? I've seen the Rennline product (thanks to Rennlist search), but I'm really not looking to exchange all three pedals then attach the extension tab. I'm sure there are less expensive yet still effective alternatives out there. Also, would be nice to be able to somewhat easily remove the extension tab when not at track (which is pretty often).

piece of advice? just learn correctly to do without aftermarket. i have HORRIBLE flat duck feet, was originally going to go the extension route but decided learn on OEM. i'm good but still have much to practice to master it. if you have any doubts, look below. sure, none of us are Senna but the point is it's the driver, not the car (parts).

If you are interested in only purchasing the Rennline throttle pedal and extension (not the three piece set), we sell them separately.

Also noticed you are in New Jersey, we are open tomorrow from 9am - 1pm.

We also have some old universal extension pedals from Ultimate Pedals in stock at 50% off in our bargain bin here.

Hey Spiffyjiff,

1) If I could shift like Senna, I wouldn't be asking about the throttle extension.

2) If I have to wear those white socks with brown loafers in order to properly heel-toe, I'm going over to PDK.

To Stable Energies - sorry I didn't think of you right off the bat. You really helped me find a great 1st helmet. See you next week. You guys ROCK!

I would suggest learning how to heel-toe with what you have.
What happens when you are in a different car? Or in your car without the extension and try to reach for it?

If you want to change out ALL your pedals, there are plenty of good options.
I still suggest learning how to use what you have

What….I think they look cool as ****!!

Senna couldn't always shift like that….someone taught him and he practiced the **** out of it. If it were me, and it mattered to me, I'd learn it.

If you sprain your right ankle a couple of times, so that all the ligaments are loose and sloppy, then heel toeing is really easy.

Spraining your left ankle is just practice for spraining your right ankle.

I don't think the tab is important. Read my writeup here with pics. Had this solution since Feb and very happy with it.

Peace

Buy and install only 1 rennline gas pedal in black. Remove upper extension wing as during daily drive in wide shoes you can touch throttle while braking.
This pedal 'moves' contact point with throttle 7mm or so forward and it makes all the difference so you can reach gas pedal fine. Just do it, it is a very simple install with 3 little holes to drill. You do not need to remove pedal from the car. Ignore clutch and brake pedals, only put black gas one

I had this unit on my 2000 S Boxster and it worked well. It clamps to the pedal so no drilling or changing the stock system. HOWEVER... it does not fit on the 997.2 pedal system. I tried and it won't work even after I cut and ground it down.

Peace

SRP makes great pedals with an extension at either the top, bottom, or both if you prefer. Highly recommend.
