Default 997 C4s Brake upgrade???

Hi Guys,

Does any of You have experience with Brake Upgrade on a 997 C4s 2008, I was thinking about Pfc. Etc maybe larger discs on the front.

I hope somebody can help Please.

If you don't track the car a lot it's a waste of money. But you can upgrade to gt3 6 pot calipers...bolt right on and 350mm Turbo (they are correct offset) rotors for the front. Do the same in the rear and you will have the same brakes the Carrera's in Grand Am GT run.

What's wrong with your brakes anyways? My OEM brake and pads worked pretty good until I got quite a bit faster, and then just use Ferodo 2500 pads for summer/track and OEM pads for winter.

Gt3 rotors..either .1 350mm rotor or .2 380mm rotor will not fit due to different offset of the rotor hat. If you want 350mm rotors just use the 350mm Turbo rotor which has the correct offset for Carrera based cars. For 380mm rotors You can make them work 2 ways.

1- install GT3 uprights
OR
2- install,some sort of bracket to change the mount point of the caliper

The best way is to change the uprights.

The more brake HP you can apply the quicker will be ABS activation....

OP has never stated WHY he may need the upgrade?

Hi Guys thanks a lot for The inputs. I do apriziate it. Yes the brakes a good on C4s but can always get better. It is a mot I will do for a Friend after he had a Passanger ride in My Gt3 Cs withv Pfc 380 mm on the front and 350 mm on the rear.
And Yes it is for the Track.
Had anyone Tryed any Pfc upgrades on a C2 or C4s???
