sure do.

useful posts like whether you need to replace your windshield washer fluid or ways to wrap your interior in towels so that a gnat can't touch the door sill?

nah, I prefer just judging you for doing these things.

My last dealer experience...

Make an offer on a C4S, dealer says he needs my keys to inspect the car I am trading, disappears for 15 minutes, counters $1000 different. I tell him thanks but no thanks, give me my keys and I will go.

Says he can't give them to me, gave them to the manager he went to talk to. I get up go into the manager and tell them to give me my goddamn keys. They say, ok we will do the deal at your price.

GM comes out and apologizes. I tell him to keep his apology, keep the buffoons he has working out my way and get the deal done.

Go into financing, they offer me 6%.

Tell them I have an offer in my hand for 2.5. They say ok, how about 2.

Dip****s...

Take delivery of the car, there is wet steel wool on the passenger seat. Who the heck knows what they were doing with steel wool.

Get the car home, it's missing the floor mats that were in it and they've given me the wrong second key. The one they gave me was for a GTS sitting out front.

Call GM he tells me to drive back over and he will give me the right key... Refuses to have someone bring them over.

Get back to dealer he tries to give me mats out of a new C4S that don't fit. I tell him he's incompetent, he goes in back and gets the right mats.

GM comes out and offers me a free oil change. I tell him to pound sand and that I won't bring either of my cars back for service after the keystone kops treatment.

He gets mad and starts yelling.

Thanks MotorWerks Barrington for showing what a total lack of respect you have for the cars, the people and the deals.

We'll I sold the 911 this week, I swear it didn't feel the same after the inspection, felt bad for buyer. Dealing with another dealer today, hopefully I can get in and out in 15 mins, told him to have everything ready! He has assured me the r8 is in the back and untouched, we shall see!

Picked up r8! It was dirty but whatever! Didn't care cause R8 v10 is a beast and wow does it attract attention! So far not regretting selling the 911!

I have driven every R8 configuration out there up to 2012 and the V10 coupe with gated 6mt was always my favorite. Between the clicking gear box and super easy / soft clutch, the car always made me feel like a complete rockstar!!

congrats!

Yup that's what I got 2012 v10 6 speed! The 6 speed takes some time getting use to! But wow is it fun! I got caught is a severe thunderstorm when taking the car back home. You really get to know the car quick when you can only see 5 feet in front of you! What an amazing car btw.

Much less than a Lambo or a Ferrari, congrats OP, it's beautiful but would prefer another color instead. Black in a PITA to keep clean.
