So the brake indicator light just went on on my C4 so this thread has come in handy! I may attempt to do this myself but I'm still not clear on:

- Based on comments here since the indicator is on, it seems I need to get new ones?
- Looks like for 997.1 we can change pads with the calipers on? I thought a read for 997.2 non-S you can't do this.

EDIT: Nevermind I just found a nice writeup on pelicanparts, too bad the front Textar pads seem to be out of stock. Will go thru suncoast, hope the pads last until get all the parts.

About $20 for Porsche ones from ECS, and about $13 for non-Porsche.
