Going on a 4 day trip in a few weeks. Any suggestions as to where mount the Go Pro? Thanks.

I mounted mine on the inside of the windshield , easy to operate. Was thinking about mounting it on the outside of rear window catching the engine noise, but could be expensive.

Also I tried mounting the camera on the inside of the rear window facing forward but couldn't see too much of the road from way back there.

Depends on what you want to see....

Since I have a targa, I use the suction cup mount in various positions all the way back to the rear seat. Just above the rear seat and narrow was probably my least favorite.

On the windshield gets a great outdoor shot, but feels disconnected from the car.

Mounted directly between the driver and passenger seats on wide were really good for my track use. I was able to see most of what I was doing, could read the speedo and tach, and could kinda see the side mirrors. Without a roll bar or other mount I don't know if that is as easy in a regular C2S.

If you want a sense of speed, get the Rennspeed front towhook mount.
Even at 30mph, it looks like double that.

You mean Rennline. I have it and it works great. I use one mounted there with the wireless remote, my iphone with HLT on the dash and another either in the rear window or attached to my track mat to capture the footwork. For a road trip, I'm thinking the dash is the best option.

I hang GoPro down from the rear view mirror using a bike mount.
Any suction outside mount, is also tethered to the car.
And, as an added reminder, also name and phone number on the camera. In case things go seriously amiss.
My ghetto mount, is my iPhone on my rear view mirror with an asparagus elastic band. with http://www.21pixel.com/icarblackbox/

I put the stickon just below the rearview. Hardly notice it when the camera is not mounted.

Mounted mine exterior - on roof at front most centre of windshield, angled down and low. Also exterior rear side glass on drivers side. On the interior hung it from the rear glass in between seats. This was for a track day
