Here are others I've had to look up for various projects

PCCB caliper bolts 63 ft. Lbs.

Spark Plugs 28 nm

Motor Mounts 2 top bolts 23 ft. Lbs / bottom nut 63 ft. Lbs.

Spring strut to wheel carrier 63 ft. Lbs

Spring strut to body 24 ft. Lbs

I also have all the torque specs for RSS suspension components but won't list them here since they could be different from stock settings, unless you guys want them.

You mentioned "had to look up" as in you have a source. This may be a stupid question, but I suspect there may be others asking the same ... is there a link to a table of torque values?

I found some in the service manuals, on Renntech, etc and kept a list of them. A torque value table is what we're trying to create here.

I've been creating my own table in my Car History Document as well as common How To items. But as a newbie my table is still small, and I have some doubts as to some of the accuracies ... Definitely not ready to share yet. Hopefully someday.

Found it in a posting from Panorama Tech Q&A, per Joel Reiser:
The M10 x 28 E12 Torx screws go in with 65 Nm / 48 foot pounds. If you do not have M10 screws, then I am looking at the wrong thing, and you need to tell me what your bolts are.

I'd like to edit my original post, which contains the torque specs, to add more but can't figure out how (ugh). Can someone help?

Thanks.

Francis,

Using my Jake Raby Fastening Specifications book for 997, I find the following torques. I assume no liability if errors.

For the FIRST DIAGRAM:
A = 110 Nm, 81.5 ft-lb
B = references Torque Value Table which requires knowing fastener size, finish, grade and/or thread pitch which I don't know
C = references Torque Value Table which requires knowing fastener size, finish, grade and/or thread pitch which I don't know
D = not shown explicitly. However, item #4 is an M12 x 1.5 x 80 bolt and matching nut with torque of 110 Nm, 81.5 ft-lb. Maybe same size fastener?
E = not shown explicitly. However, item #4 is an M12 x 1.5 x 80 bolt and matching nut with torque of 110 Nm, 81.5 ft-lb. Maybe same size fastener?
F = 110 Nm, 81.5 ft-lb
G = 110 Nm, 81.5 ft-lb
H = diagram in book is different. If left end of transvers strut to rear axle then M10 x 40 and 65 Nm, 48 ft-lb OR strut to suspension M12 x 30 and 110 Nm, 81.5 ft-lb. Good luck.
I = 65 Nm, 48 ft-lb
For the SECOND DIAGRAM:
A = 110 Nm, 81.5 ft-lb
B = 110 Nm, 81.5 ft-lb
C = 110 Nm, 81.5 ft-lb
D = 110 Nm, 81.5 ft-lb
E = 180 Nm, 133 ft-lb
F = 110 Nm, 81.5 ft-lb
G = Diagrams are different but if M14 x 75 then 160 Nm, 118 ft-lb
H = 100 Nm, 74 ft-lb
It would be great if others could check my work.

Good luck!

Scott

Does anyone know if any of these specs carryover to the 997.2 GT3 as well? If not does anyone have a resource/service manual that has these listed? I couldn't find the service manual on Suncoast.

Anyone have the torque spec for the top strut nut to the strut mount on a 997.1?
