Default Wreck Photos

Not sure if this is old news but here is a website with 18 pages of photos of wrecked 911's from around the world, many of which are 997's. There is a brief mention of the circumstances of each accident. What impressed me is the strength and integrity of the cabin in most of the wrecks, no matter how extensive the damage to the rest of the car. From the write ups most of the accidents were caused by drivers behaving badly.

I don't know about structural integrity but I am struck by the sheer violence associated with many of these crashes. Scary.

I used to get weekly emails of new wrecks of all brands but stopped some time ago. Too depressing to see all those nice cars getting smashed.

I'm amazed by how often the front lid delaminates from its reinforcements.

these are all horrible accidents. They happen with all cars. Why are we looking at them?

I hate these engine fires. At least the trunk looks ok.

Car:
2005 Porsche 911 Turbo

Description:
Accident led to engine fire

They are so nice when they are perfect.
Don't like seeing like that.
