$600 at the dealership my not be wise as they are likely to not really be able to do it properly. You may want to locate someone in your area that can perform the task properly.

My question is how does one clean and protect the seats in an 2009 C2S? I have the seats with the ventilation in them. I have the ones with the hundreds of holes in the front portion of the seat.
If I apply a cleaner or moisturizer type formula the hole will start to fill and look ugly. I have only wiped them with a slightly dampened towel for cleaning.
This has always been my issue when it come to cleaning the inside.
Now i have a Panamera also and it has the same type seats so I will need to figure out how to clean these seats without leaving any residue in the holes.

Any ideas?

Leatherique Prestine Clean works extremely well for conditioning of Porsche leather. It is a low viscosity (oil like) liquid which you can spray onto a microfiber and apply to the surface of your leather. I would follow this with a quick wipe down of the leather with a clean damp Microfiber. Do this every few months and it will remain soft and natural.

To clarify some things regarding paint correction:

What is it?

A system of using the precise polish/pad/machine combination to safely REMOVE the imperfections in the clear coat. This is truly a specialist level of work. Many claim they know how to properly perform a paint correction, but few actual understand its purpose.

How it's performed:

Here's a step-by-step process that is part of the ARS, Automitive Renewal System, a proprietary system that has taken us decades to develop and it's constantly dynamic as new technology evolves:

1. Paint is washed and properly decontaminated using clay

2. Various paint measurements are taken around the vehcile to properly assess the current condition of the amount of clearcoat on the finish. Without this crucial step, one cannot accurately determine the correct course of action

3. The correct polish/pad combination is chosen by technician. This step is key. We don't simply want to dive into polishing the paint and remove all the imperfections. We must determine the objective of the client and the health of the car's paint. If a client wants all swirls, scratches, etc. removed, but we only have a small amount of paint to play with, the prudent choice would be to perform a paint correction that is moderate and gets us 80% of the way there without compromising the healthy clear coat that's left. This way, we can enjoy the beauty of the paint for many years without having to repaint the original work done at the factory

4. Along the way, each panel is polished, wiped down with alcohol, measured again, and checked for level of correction. We may spend almost 30-45 minutes on one panel just to make it as perfect as that panel can get. Hence, a proper paint correction can sometimes take days to complete

5. Once the whole vehicle is corrected, it is then washed again and prepared for wax or sealant

Here at GP, paint correction is an additional service offered. Not every vehicle ever needs paint correction. We do include a light paint correction as part of our phase 3 service.

Hope this further clarifies. When one is considering a paint correction on their vehicle, it should be treated similar to finding a cardiologist or a plastic surgeon. You're not searching for the cheapest, you're searching for the best you can afford. Mistakes can cost you thousands $$$

This is why Lumiere All-Natural Car Care was developed. Try the leather cleaner and conditioner. Will not clog pores of leather and leaves leather a satin sheen. It also brings out the natural scent of the leather that's unique to each manufacturer

My car needs a serious detailing now that its four years old. I keep putting it off because I haven't found anyone I trust, and then I think I'd rather do it myself "right". Looking over Moe's website, I'm ready to get the Detox treatment if I can figure out how to get down to the OC. Yes it's expensive, but I'd say its worth it.

$600 at a car wash with 'detailing' section where near minimum wage guys 'detail' your car. Rip-off.
Some dealers are no better, I once watched a guy break every rule in the book washing my car at one of the top dealers in the country.
I could only shake my head knowing I had a date with the Porter Cable as soon as I got home.

$600 from a person with experience in concours to remove swirls, different matter. There's no rushing that exercise, it's time intensive and someone with technical knowleged isn't workign for peanuts. And you also want to remove as little clear coat as is necessary to do the job.

Another huge vote for Glistening! Once you go Moe, you'll want More!

I started with the same thinking of crazy money for his service, he always said he needs to see the car and the car will tell him what it needs. I now believe in him.

I'm also a DIY guy, know enough to be dangerous (saw a lot of youtube), but once I saw him in action, it is a no brainer! Moe LOVES his work and take great pride. Most of the time Moe thinks the car belongs to him, because he goes beyond what an owner would do (he takes out wheels, lights, bumper, name plates), he is so critical about his work and exceed customer expectation.

His car wash is $65, sticker shock at first, but then it takes him 1.5 to 2 hours with light detail and all of the nooks and crannies, I know because I sit there every month watch him in action. This guy is super **** retentive. His nano detail takes 2-3 days. IT IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE DETAIL ANYWHERE ELSE.

Another thing about his work is very settle, his detail does not look like someone pour baby oil all over your car. It is shinny and clean feeling, never weird or harsh chemicals and looks better then first out of the dealership! It does take a good/train eyes to spot the mistake from bad details, he always pointed out to me and gets me all work up. It is all in the details!

He fixes bad detail jobs from local detailers, gas stations and dealerships all the time, I had Newport, McKenna & Downtown LA mess up my cars in the past. He would make me tell the service advisor to not wash the car at service appointments

I now have all of my cars with Moe and would not go anywhere else, it is a big relief for me knowing Glistening can take care of everything for my cars' appearance.

You do get what you pay for! Check out what he did on my Panamera: https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...errerid=103348

It's been such a treat to be working on such a unique 911 Dave. As you know, we're quite fond of the color choice and interior treatment. Thanks for being a part of our family

So glad we were given the opportunity to make your 911 GTS what you were searching for. Life's too short to be living with a yellow clear bra on a white car
