^ I had to move the car when I did mine.. once the belt was out, you WILL get an airbag light that will stay on once you start the car, even after you put the belts back in.

You can reset it via a trip to the dealer OR as I recall, I reset it with a Durametric Enthusiast version or the Torque app, dont recall which..

Is there a DIY for the rear belts?

My turn to thank USMC_DS1 for the great DIY. My red seatbelts install wasn't a DIY as Wayne Smith kindly installed mine (arthritic wrists got in my way).

Looks great. I used the same DIY when I did mine.

Congrats ltcjmramos. Those red belts contrast nicely against the black interior leather.

So I accidentally unclipped the adjuster (with my sleeve when waking the kiddo!), so that the 2 parts in your first pic are now removed. How do you remove the remaining 2 parts still attached on the B pillar?

Thanks for any tips!

Default Thanks USMC_DS1

For the thorough tutorial, it made for a straightforward project free of confusion and frustration.

It helps that the red belts look fantastic, of course!

Had a question as I am the works of changing mine to navy blue.
when the belts are removed(and sent for rewebbing), can I reconnect the battery and drive the car while i wait for new belts?
what codes am I facing and can the dealer turn the off after belts go in(or durametric enthusiast tool)?

Thank you all

@THE Z MAN Why on earth would you want to drive your car without seatbelts? Dashboard lights and codes are the least of your concerns!

Just removed my seat belts following this instructions that are over 10 years old but boy was he spot on. It was literary that simple. First belt because of caution and following the example and taking pictures, took me 50 mins, the second belt 15 mins. So now off to re webbing.
