Default radiator/bumper screens

Anybody have a FVD radiator/bumper screen on the 997? I'm tired of cleaning out leaves and even cig butts out of the area. Also, on a recent spirited drive I came home and noticed a dent in the center radiator fins, probably from a "flying rock". The screens should help with all of this but I want to see one installed to see if I like it. Thanks

+3... I have grills/screens protecting all three of my rads. My car is apparently a road debris magnet. There's always something on the road trying to do me in. A semi-trucks tires blowout last weekend and strips of it came flying my way in the fast lane. Get the grills! If you go with the FVD version... mention to Rhonda at FVD that you're an RL member for the discount and don't forget to post some pics. I posted a few pics of my grills here... https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...il-filter.html

I've had 'em on my 2011 GTS for about 18 months. High quality product that has held up really well to everything CA's roads and highways have thrown at it.
Other than the expense of dropping the bumper cover to do a proper installation, you can't go wrong. Porsche should offer these as an OEM option (as they did on the GT cars).
Sorry for the iPhone shot, but it shows the grilles pretty well.

+1, the ZUNSPORT grilles are great, they are stainless steel and SS painted black. They snap in, installing in 10 minutes. If you email them telling them you heard about their grilles on RENNLIST, they will provide you with a 15% discount code. They are made in UK, but arrive in US in a couple of days. www.zunsport.com/

I built my own and also built about ten sets for friends. Total cost for materials for each set about $8 dollars and several hours time.

Zunsport just clicks in, place hooked tab on one side as shown in instructions, then push other side hooked tab. Fits tight and IMO improves the look of the car. I have black ones on a Meteor Grey car.

Here are the FVD grills on my aero kit. Fantastic grills and pulling the bumper gives you a reason to (A) clean out your radiators and surrounding area thoroughly and (B) install a third radiator while your in there if you'd like. Both very simple operations so definitely don't be discouraged by the thought of removing the bumper.

Start here for Zunsport prices, photos and ordering:

No experience with FVD (which also look good in the photo) the Zunsport is good quality and should be durable.
