Does anyone have a FVD Sport Muffler "Brombacher" (Sound Version) on their 997.1 S. I'd like to hear about your experience. Is it comparable to PSE but maybe a little more aggressive with no droning while crusing? The model is BES 997 150 01S.
I think the sport max version would be too loud for what I am looking for. Thanks

I have their full setup and really like it. http://www.fvd.us/us/en/Porsche-0/99...ps_4x90mm.html I suspect that my particular cans(tuned for max sound) would be too loud for what you're looking for but FVD can tune the cans to your liking... If you discuss this with Rhonda @ FVD she'll be able to guild you to the right cans based on your desired result.

I don't have that exact system but I do have a FVD system (made by M&M) and it is of very high quality and throughly dyno tested. Plus FVD and M&M are very nice to work with and buy from. Customer service is #1 with Rhonda at and Mr. Brombacher.

I asked Rhonda if she had a video of a .1s with that muffer installed -there are a bunch of .2 cars on youtube but no earlier cars. From your comments it sounds like the quality is what I am looking for.

Here's a video from inside the cabin of my .1 with the full FVD exhaust. From startup to a quite drive through the neighborhood and then some spirited driving at the end through some back roads.

Wow, now that's a nice exhaust system! Some of the FVD full packages are $10K and up.

The 70mm tubed FVD systems require that you get the entire system as Porsche stock pipes are 63.5mm in diameter. You can, however, go with the FVD 63.5mm diameter systems which are interchangeable or plug-n-play with the Porsche stock system. Start by adding one piece at a time with the their 63.5mm tubed exhaust mufflers for sound. Then down the road you can add the 200 cell cats and exhaust manifolds if you want some performance factors. BTW, everything I've sourced from FVD has been top notch and almost looks like car jewerly... and their customer service is exceptional. GL and post some pics for us if you get some new cans.

Hey thanks. And yes... I hate that wire hanging down. FWIW my the Escort Redline has been hardwired for about 2+ yrs now. The temp wire you see is actually for my video black box - bulls-i ETK-B2000. I'm considering handing it down to one of my sons and getting a different one so I have not hardwired it yet. But agreed... it does bug me.
