Default Just a couple of pics from the weekend.

Plasti-dipped the rear emblem since I seem to be going for the blacked out look. Also got the first pictures of the wheels out of the garage. I am still loving them...

Nope, no problems....I think taping it off, throwing 4-5 coats on it and peeling it off could not have taken me much more than an hour.

Just have a toothpick handy....inside the A and E are the hardest but with a toothpick it is a piece of cake.

Could have been easier just to buy a black carrera badge and stuck that on. But hey, great job brother, salute to the diy in you.

Thats what I did -- but he didn't have to pay $70 for a new badge I guess

Yeah, a can of plasti-dip is a few bucks and if I don't like it, just simply remove it.

Did you think about hood badge and trim rings on the headlights? I have a matte black hood badge that I love, but I guess pdip would work just fine. And I bought some black vinyl for the trim rings and I think that looks pretty good, too. Just a couple of thoughts...
