These pricing threads are difficult because the cars can vary immensely in spec/condition/maintenance ,and thus, prices. For a 2006 model alone you might see a base car with light options under $40k, but then you could also find a well spec'd S model in the high $50's easily. Perhaps a $20k swing in price just within the same model year.
It all comes down to what options you want and how bad you want them. These cars are toys to be enjoyed for most folks, so why not find the exact car that makes you happy. Everyone wants a deal, but even if you overpay by 5-10% for the car YOU want, is that really the end of the world? I've lost cars in the past over a few thousand dollars. Believe me you feel worse about losing the car you really wanted than you ever would about spending the relatively little additional money.
If this one is YOUR car, go for it and start enjoying today.
