Default Mexico Blue Wrap on 997.1 C2 w/Aero & Ducktail

Turning 50 this year so I thought I'd do something fun. My car is going into the shop this Friday for a vinyl wrap. I short listed three gorgeous vinyls but I finally decided on the 3M Intense Blue Gloss mainly for it's deep rich colour. It appears to be a little darker than Mexico Blue. I can't wait and my wife is already afraid of all the attention the car will get by next week!

my (front end) track rash is ever-increasing and have been thinking about a wrap - both to protect what good paint is left as well as a color change.

awesome color choice! my car is grey also but recently i have been craving a blue car. do you mind telling how much youre paying? and will they do door jambs, under frunk lid, etc? i see "metro" in your handle...are you in the DC area by chance?

Happy birthday. Great looking car. Will you keep the black stone guard look? What about mirrors and door handles? Will they be painted? Can they wrap the ducktail?

Thank you! I'm in Vancouver, BC, Canada where the average quoted price without doing the door jambs, frunk lid, etc. was $4000-$4500. Materials alone is around $1000.

Thank you. Black stone guards will go. Mirrors and door handles might be painted if the desired result isn't there after wrapping. Yes, the ducktail can be wrapped.

I like the blue / aerokit look on these 911's, very classic. Look forward to seeing this.

that'll be fun, and happy birthday.....
I had one of my cars wrapped for a couple of months
and loved it because it was so different you know?
I really enjoyed having it a different color.....and when I was ready
I even removed it myself, not the easiest chore, but not too bad...
how long do you plan on keeping it wrapped?

you picked a great color too, enjoy!!!
can't wait to see it

I think we waved at each other a couple of times.

You look younger than 50. It must be from fast driving.
