There is another option that some may be overlooking, and that is changing the headers on the car. We offer Race Headers and Sport Headers (Catless vs HJS 200cell Sport Cats). Not only does the sound level improve significantly with a superb, higher/exotic pitch as your climb into the higher RPMs (glorious when combined with our Center Muffler X-Pipe), performance improves a great deal as the factory cats and primary tube design are very restrictive. We saw 13whp/16wtq with our Sport Headers, and you can expect another 5-10hp/tq in the top end with the Race Headers. This also retains PSE functionality by not affecting the PSE side mufflers, and with the Sport Headers you should have no CEL issues courtesy of the HJS cats. Race Headers require O2 spacers or a tune to reduce/eliminate the CEL.

I have the side muffler deletes on my .1. Yes - they're a bit loud - but not in a bad way. I can listen to the stereo - and sure, talking on the phone is a bit tough - but I don't notice the drone at all. This is a 50/50 track and street use car... and it's louder due to it being a cab. I get compliments at the track and on the street quite often....
