Not so sure those stats are 100% accurate. When my hubby, Rob worked for Jerry in the late 90s, he had 53 Porsches and bought many more since then including a Gmund Coupe (several million bucks), the McQueen 917 (same), Redmans Targa Florio 908 and several more. Of course he could have sold some off, but the last we heard from his curator it's closer to 90 total.
He wanted Rob to build garage dioramas with models of his cars. Here's one that he did of his Speedster delivered to Jerry's studio.

Too funny! But not as funny as the time Wayne and Rob met!
We were in Monterey for the Historics and just walking across the parking lot to our hotel, here comes Wayne. They just look at each other with kind of a spooky stare and start cracking up. They really do look alike even more in person......Only thing slightly different is Rob is 6' 4" and Wayne might be 5' 1".....might be!

"Porsche, Origin of the Species" - My son got it for me for Fathers Day, very interesting book, mostly deals with the beginnings of Porsche up to the development of the 356. Very little on the 911 if that is what you are looking for. About $80 on Amazon.
