Default Seinfeld update

I'm sure most know that he is an absolute Porsche fanatic! I was at a home that I have in the Hamptons this weekend, which is a very popular NYC getaway destination on the east end of Long Island. I was reading thru the local "rags" and one of them did a feature on Seinfeld, because he is one of the many celebs that has homes in the Hamptons. However, he is obviously A-list, hence the feature.

They pointed out some info on his "hobby", which I would like to share:

1. He owns 47 Porsches
2. He keeps 20 in his Hamptons garage.
3. He keeps the balance between a garage in NYC and his LA house.
4. He paid $700k for his 959

I wish I had Seinfled in syndication! lol

I guess he is continuing to collect. I believe I read once a few years back that he could drive a different one every day for a month. I guess that is still true, but I was under the impression the number was closer to 30 then.

If you guys haven't seen his Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee web series, it is quite enjoyable. I've heard he is planning more episodes as well.

In a completely unrelated note, at some point in my life I'd like to start off a sentence with "I was at a home, that I have in the Hamptons, this weekend"

Envy.

Take care,

Jerry's Porsche collection and his passion for the brand is truly awesome. He is one guy I'd love to meet and talk cars with. His 1st hand knowledge must be something. I wonder if he ever gets to take any of them on the track and have fun or even if he likes that sort of thing?

Yeah, he's a member of the Monticello Motor Club, a private track about 90 mins outside of NYC.

I received a marketing magazine from the track just last week and a pic of Seinfeld was one of many pics on the magazine's cover.

I received the same brochure last week. Interesting looking place except not much in the area to keep my wife busy while I'm having fun on the track.

He also has a Porsche tractor!

Seinfeld brings all of his Porsches to the same place I do for service and the tractor has naturally been there as well. Owner of shop told me the story, etc.

Actually I just watched the first two last night. I remember hearing about them a while back but finally got the chance to sit down and watch them on the tablet. Awesome stuff and thank you for sharing the link gsruff.
