Default sway bars

if i were to upgrade to stiffer sways would i feel a difference in ride Q on the street or would it just make for flatter/better cornering on the track?

The beauty about sway bars is that they don't effect ride quality.

Sway bars minimize chassis flex during turning so they will affect your ride characteristic. In normal street driving you probably see minimal difference though.

I asked the same question a few weeks ago and got a majority "don't do it" and "unnecessary" since our cars are already plenty stiff. So I passed on this easy install.

CORSASCHNELL, might you be mixing sway bars with chassis strengthening bars like tower bars and link braces? Sway bars or sometimes called anti roll bars resist body roll in a corner.

CORASACHNELL is correct. When you stiffen the sway bars, you are going to affect the ride. A single wheel will be less likely to deflect for a bump with that stiffer bar, transmitting more impact to the car.

The suspensions on these cars are carefully designed and tuned. If you change one thing, it's going to affect other things.

less rocking motion, more stability, well worth it for the track. if you get them, set them to mid hole in rear, one to softer side from center hole in front and try it. do not set rear to full stiff and front to full soft.

for street only car I would not bother.

Sure, if you go crazy stiff, it'd affect ride quality. In my years of swapping out OE sway bars with good aftermarket bars, I have always gotten flatter/better cornering without any adverse affect to ride quality.
