Cell phone picture. I had the car on a battery tender expecting it to be ready to go to sleep this winter. But the weather was nice this weekend, so I got it back out for the day.

New to me 2011 997
My search for a 997.2 was successful after a super nice gentleman, Cody C., responded to my wanted ad here on RL. A 2-owner 100% original car with 52000 miles, it culminated in a trip to Texas to see it in person, and I drove it home via Nashville where I picked up my daughter who assisted with the drive back to the NJ shore. It was a long drive but a great trip with Diana as a co-pilot. I’ve always loved doing reversible mods to my cars so I decided to remove the rear seats and frunk trim, lower it with Eibachs, do a Getty ducktail, rear bumperette delete, rennline mesh guards and wheel studs, Emc front lip, and a Sharkweks center muffler delete. Last but not least, a set of forged Fuchs replicas from Augment Wheel which are outstanding, but not installed yet. Here are the pics with the frunk trim delete not quite finished and the OE wheels.

it was totally worth it. Quick story: Texas DMV is very relaxed. Go on their web site; put in your info and the VIN, and you can print out a 5 day temp tag. No bar code, or anything digital. It was a toll-free ride 😉
