Sorry haven't been on much lately but I'll still respond .I'm no air cooled die hard and have only owned a few. As much as Ive enjoyed and loved my different cars I just
really like the " tech" that this car has to offer..... The ability to push a button and open up the exhaust and firm up the suspension...or not and cruise incognito . My 993 and my other air cooled's are just loud and rough all the time. I also like the way this thing howls at around 6K accelerating. The AC cranks , the sunroof pops up in the back, The car is clean, comfortable, has nice 19 inch stock wheels, low miles, sport seats, auto dimming rear view mirror, ..blah, blah, blah. heated seats... navigation and a menu you can do all kinds of crap like store engine hours etc.The list goes on. These 997 S's are just loaded with cool "stuff" and handle real nice. For me the 6 speed manual is a must. I hated my 996 turbo tip.....was the fastest by far but most boring of all.
Also this is the first 911 I've owned where when I look at it there's nothing I don't like about it.
The air cooled are all awesome and definitely in a league of their own. I still have my 993 but I'm just not stuck there like some guys.

I have Eibach springs on mine. The ride quality is basically the same as Sport Pasm. It didn't lower it like I wanted and I actually hate the way PASM handles. I might be in the minority here on that, I think I'll be going with a coil over system and deleting PASM functionality. I know Ohlins are an option but I'm not sure what else there is. I got some unfavorable impressions on Bilstein and KW coil overs for the 997 recently. I currently have KW V3's on my B7RS4 and the ride is fantastic. I had Bilstein PSS10's on my 2013 S4 and I did not care for them, especially on the streets of San Francisco. Didn't mind them on the streets of Milwaukee but SF was bad.
What size tires are you running? I would like something wider/spacers, if possible, in the back.

I have center lock wheels, not a huge fan as the aftermarket options are limited. I have BBS RE-MTSP wheels with 19x9 et47 and 19x12 et 48. I have 245 front tires and 305 rears michelin ps4s. I can't seem to post pictures anymore as I let my subscription lapse by mistake. Can check out @pilfer0408 on instagram, I have a few pictures up there.
