thanks for the extras, if you're like me any chance to show it off is welcome...that is a one off for sure, so it is your own ideas and input...even better, and those dark green metallics are quite rare, and beautiful...i have just come down from germany to javea for a few months, this time with my mac X51 instead of the camper...and am thrilled with the roads here and the lack of those who would limit your fun..., in fact, i'm off for some fun right now...cheers...
I'm glad yo like it kkswow12. Let's see if I can send some extra pics of the interior. BTW, car has been done in Madrid. Pepita fabric was found in England, new top in Germany, and the wheels come from the Fuchs factory in Germany. It will not be easy to keep the top in "as new" condition but keeping the car covered and in a garage, help.
Center front seats.
And door panels.
Perfect finish in the top area.
The houndstooth inside of the seats is something that pops in my mind frequently. I probably wouldn't do the door panels, but congrats on the car. Very unique
I'm usually not a fan of the red interior but I really like this one with the contrast of the black steering wheel and the grey on the back of the seats. Maybe add dark floor mats too?
^ I actually have black rubber OEM mats in there right now and I do like the contrast so I'll be ordering a set of black Lloyd Mats ("Carrera S") mats in the spring.
Regarding the steering wheel, I hate it and feel the black is really out of place. Since the interior has silver accents throughout, I'm wanting to upgrade to a red Sport steering wheel which will really tie everything together.

You're right, that would look awesome. Daring spec. Love it!

Congrats - your car's interior is spec'd out to the max
Adaptive seats, full leather, even full alacantara lower console... easily 5 figures in options right there.
yes; most 997GTS I saw/see do not have the full leather option...and finding the Carrera white color with that full leather interior (and < 20k mikes) is why it took almost a year of looking to find. It became a quest. Mine had an MSRP of $123k plus the clear bra. I paid $81k for this 2012 unit due to that full leather option and it had only 11k mikes. The median price for the 997GTS is about $75k today.
I believe the 997GTS (due to its limited production numbers) will bottom out at $60k and begin to appreciate. It is the naturally aspirated "greatest hits" of the 997 field (option-wise) for the non-track owner. It also preserves more of the classic Carrera lines that were lost (albeit some say improved) over the 991. Just search autotrader 997 variants for sale and there are several 100s of choices. Right now there are only 15-25 997GTS for sale in the US any given week. Today there are 24. Talk about low cost of ownership? Buy this variant for $67k-$73k today with associated miles and in 3-5 years one will realize very little depreciation. Just my opinion of course.
