Still my work in progress. LOVE the new Afterhours Motorsports exhaust and Ruger Mesh wheels. Some new interior stuff coming this week!

We've had beautiful weather lately, with some nice sunsets. So a few more pictures...

Anyway, here are some c@ppy iPhone shots of my car. Though the last one is awfully dark, I thought it was cool the way the light in my office parking garage highlighted the lip. My eventual objective for the car is to achieve an OEM+ look. Basically, a car that looks totally OEM at a glance, but with enough subtle improvements that car guys/gals will know it's not stock. So far I've just done clear side markers and the lip. Next up, come spring-time, are spacers and a modest drop (keeping the 4X4 stance for the snowy months). After that I'll focus on weight reduction and improving the exhaust note. I've already done the rear seat delete, which saves ~30lbs according to my bathroom scale (accuracy highly questionable), and has the convenient side benefit of making much easier to fit kids car seats in the back. I also plan to do the Sharkwerks center muffler bypass and Gundo hack, and source a good set of light, 18" forged wheels which - together with the center exhaust delete - should yield another ~30-40 lbs of weight savings. After that cost/benefit on further weight reduction gets sketchy, but I think a case can be made for some lightweight brake rotors when my OEM ones need replacement and maybe a smaller, lighter battery given that the car lives indoors both at home and at the office.

Comments and advice always appreciated.
cgaites,
If you want to stay with 18s, like you said in your post, lowering the car with the Eibach Pro Kit and adding 5-10mm spacers to bring the wheels out to the body is a great mod to improve the stance. Good bang for the buck too.

Have you ever considered colored center caps?

I like this. What is your suspension and wheel/tire setup?

World Motorsports is now offering a black finish on their Ti lug bolts.
