Thanks for the compliments fellas =D
The car came with Techart tips. I thought they were only "ok" when i bought the vehicle, but i must say they really grew on me. They're a good in-between with a semi factory and aftermarket look.
LOL my name is actually Alex. Harry Da Hamster is my online/gaming username. They're RSV RSF1. Bought them with the car. I might have them refinished in the same color or different. The satin black center section is hard to keep "like new" since the brake dust will eventually stain the finish a brownish hue and there's no polishing it out.
Safety checks are now pretty strict and inspection stations are now required to take pictures of the vehicle and send them in to the City and County of Honolulu. So now, recon is absolutely necessary. What's funny is you need to have factory wheel alignment specs to pass recon, there was no way in hell i could get it to factory specs. So while it was on the alignment rack, i had 4 guys stand at ever corner of the car and gently touch the alignment reflectors so it would get into factory spec. For the brief moment it did, the tech would hit "control P" to print that screen. After that, i pushed the camber as far negative as possible and got -1.5 degrees. That made my wheels not as flush with the top of the wheel wells as before so i'll be getting GT3 front control arms for even more camber and wheel spacers to flush them up again.

First time Porsche owner! 2010 997.2 C4S
Finally took the plunge. Spent the last 25+ years in VWs and Audis. Seemed like the logical next step. Really wanted another naturally aspirated, manual car.
It's my daily driver, so wanted to have something less flashy that would blend in a bit. So far, I love it! (only had 10 days!)
Besides the color, it had all the options I wanted including SPASM, Sport Chrono, and the lightweight manual sport seats. Bonus was that it was CPO, and previous owner had front clear bra and integrated radar detector installed.
Looking forward to being part of the community!
