Default Porsche Won't Start????

I put on a battery late at night backward the key was in the ignition and I didn't try to start the car. I unplugged it 10 seconds later..

Now the windows don't work

Roof doesn't open
Navigation doesn't turn on
And car won't start
Alternator seams fine...
Checked all fused under steering wheel

I got a Porsche 911 C2S 997 2005

This is what it sounds like when I try to start it. :/

What could be the problem???

It sounds like the battery doesn't have enough current to start the car. It doesn't matter if you measure it and the battery is showing 12.6 V for example,it's the Cold Cranking Amps you're after... I would put the battery on a trickle charger overnight and try again.
Good luck!

Read his post again - he installed a battery (assuming it was new) and he reversed the polarity when he hooked it up. Who knows what happened to the electrical system.

Yes,I've read that...
There's a chance something happened to the electrical system but there's also a chance something happened to the battery itself.
If you watch the video you'll see that the car is cranking and actually spinning the engine, just wouldn't start.
So I'd still charge the battery first and give it another try before jumping to more serious conclusions.

As suggested earlier make sure you have a battery with a full charge and is capable of handling a start load (take the battery to Autozone or Advanceauto and they'll do a charge and loads test for free).

Also,

How did you check all of the fuses? continuity tester vice visual?

and,

as you have learned, don't do any electrical work with the key in the ignition.

Hang in there and obviously we all hope it's the battery not being fully charged.

Seems there is no ignition current. Am curious about a device called Current Distributor near the battery. Seems to carry fuses ??? Example:

Learn something new everyday. I looked it up in my AllData and there are a number of fuse elements in there.

It sounds weak like the battery is a bit low but it is certainly turning over. You shorted something out. Not getting any spark to the ignition.

Thanks for your help!!!!!

The battery doesn't seam to have a problem, I also tried jump starting it.

I checked all the fuses by the clutch peddle are there any other fuses??
