I did find the brake hydraulic fluid was low without visible leaks. I have also experienced a missed shift to third (grinding) and still have to depress pedal to floor in order to get into first reliably. I did not bleed it yet because I also see what could be described as slipping of the clutch, in third or fourth gears (ONLY) when trying to accelerate past around 4500RPM. The local shop (not dealer) is thinking I am experiencing a bad clutch. Is there any other common source that could be giving me stiff shifting, missed gears, hard getting into gear and possible clutch slipping? I really tried hard to make the thing slip in second but could not, only seemed to happen in 3rd or 4th gears. Thinking that this might now be more than a hydraulic bleed, has anyone put a low mass flywheel in the 997? I had one in my 993 and it was really fun to rev after that modification. I realize this is a different transmission and unlike the 993, it would not be a factory part. Thanks.
