It should click. Underneath the aluminum, I believe is the same as the original fuel cap. The tether simply clips into place with a plastic fastener. It shouldn't take more than a minute or two to install. Farfelc2s will have to let us know for sure once that beautiful Ducktail is put on, can't wait to see some pictures

In Germany its "Benzin" but most folks mean regular octane with that, and would say "Super" to mean the high octane. In the UK & Ireland its "Petrol" which is short for "Petroleum". In the US it is "Gas" or "Unleaded". "Fuel" is meaningless outside of english speaking countries. I was just saying that "gas" is as unclear as "petroleum" in the US.

Granted, if its a US company marketing to US customers, "Fuel" or "High Octane" would have been better choices. or "Petrol" if they wanted to appeal to the UK style english naming. Not sure what they were targeting with "Petroleum".

The billet aluminum one "Petroleum" will not accommodate the factory OEM tether. You will have to design your own.

Any update on ease of install (and ducktail pics )?

The website also says it's for 2011 and older...I assume it will fit a 2012 997.2?

Cheers!
