Carrera 4S Daily Dr. TIRES Quest

Currently running PS2s. Only 3000 mi left. Wore quickly w/ moderate driving daily. Any long term thoughts on SuperSports as DD tire. No track time. Want to balance longevity & cost. SS tires are more economical; purportedly superior to PS2s. Other options for my 19" spec: Falken FK453 Azenis, Hankook Ventus evo 112.

rvp....I just had mine changed out for Pilot Sports N2 or 3, can't remember.......also had a bunch of negative rear camber taken out to give better longevity...

I think you will enjoy the MSS. Much better wear rating that's the PS2s, more quiet rolling and they still have enormous amounts of grip for such streetable tire.

I cannot comment for longevity with just street driving since I do autox and DEs...

I just ordered a set of the super sports after some research, talking to other Porsche owners, confirmed with tire shop, then got a drywall screw through the sidewall of my Bridgestone S-04 rear tire. I suddenly became a motivated buyer. Good luck with your decision.

Thanks for replies so far. Yes Michelin warranties SS for 30K vs. 20K for PS2s. Lower road noise would be nicer, too. Grip, according most, does seem to be awesome. DONE DEAL...SuperSports.
